The AR500 Armor Testudo Lite Plate Carrier is the perfect carrier when armor coverage is your primary concern, but weight is still a factor.

Named after the Roman army's deensive formation, the Testudo Lite is a slimmed down version of the , but still comes ready to provide maximum coverage.

The Testudo Lite is still able to accommodate 10" x 12" or 11" x 14" hard armor. It features a fully-adjustable cummerbund and shoulder straps to fit a wide range of body types, and has plenty of real estate to attach your MOLLE-compatible pouches and accessories.

The Testudo Lite weighs one pound less than the standard Testudo by eliminating the weight and bulk of the padding and 3D mesh, Velcro on the webbing, and removing the side waist straps and buckles (meaning it can only be used with the cummerbund).

The Testudo LIte is AR500's flagship and has everything you need, right out of the box. The cummerbund sports integrated side-armor pockets, and the low-offset shoulder straps mean the rear plate pocket rides at the proper height.
